Things to Do in New Orleans:

We’re so excited to welcome you to the vibrant, soulful city of New Orleans! Since most of you are traveling in, we wanted to share some of our favorite local spots and fun things to check out while you’re here.

Explore City Park

Since we’re getting married right next to it, make sure to spend some time in City Park! It’s one of the oldest urban parks in the country—perfect for a stroll, a coffee, or a peaceful moment under the oak trees. Check out the New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA) or rent a paddleboat on Big Lake.

French Quarter Wandering

You can’t visit NOLA without a trip to the French Quarter. Grab a beignet at Café du Monde, walk along Royal Street for great art and antiques, and catch some live jazz at Preservation Hall.

Live Music & Nightlife

Frenchmen Street is where it’s at for live music—way more local than Bourbon Street (but you should probably walk down Bourbon once just to say you did it). Check out spots like The Spotted Cat or d.b.a. for amazing live bands.
